Canton First is so excited to host our 3rd annual Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation!

We need YOU to make this event happen! We have several serve opportunities available. All serve team members MUST arrive by 5pm the day of the event.

Serve Teams (Serve team members must be 14+) 

• Activities Team: This serve team will lead various games and activities for the event.
• Buddy Team: Each member of this team will be paired with an honored guest for the evening. They will provide companionship and any assistance that their assigned guest may need throughout the night. Members of this serve team must be 16+ & accompany their guest for the entire night. 
• Back-Up Buddy Team- This serve team will be prepared to accompany an honored guest for the evening in the case of a buddy being unable to attend. Members of this serve team must be 16+ & be prepared to accompany their guest for the entire night.
• Check-in Team: Members of this team will welcome, check in, and provide nametags to each serve team member and honored guest. Team members are required to be here by 4:15pm to ensure check-in runs smoothly. 
• Security Team: This team will provide a safe and secure environment for all honored guests and buddies by monitoring the event space and ensuring that all exits are appropriately managed. 
• Flower Team: This team will lay out corsages and boutonnieres. They will also assist honored guests with selecting and placing the flower on their attire or wrist. 
• Food Team: This team will assist with food preparation and serving for honored guests and parents/caretakers. 
• Sensory Team: This team will be a calming presence for honored guests who may have become overstimulated.
• Sparkle & Shine Team: This team will make the honored guests feel special by providing them with hair and makeup touch-ups, shoe shining, and limo ride assistance. 
• Red Carpet Team: This team will cheer on the honored guests as they make their way down the red carpet.
• Parent Hospitality Team: This team will provide a warm and welcoming environment to parents and caregivers staying in the hospitality room.
• Karaoke Team: This team will encourage and interact with guests in the karaoke room. 
• Parking Team: This team will direct traffic and ensure that serve team members, honored guests and their families are safe within our parking lot.
• Guest & Buddy Connection Team: This team will help by pairing buddies and honored guests at Night to Shine, as well as verifying they are checked in for the evening.

Decorating Teams (There is no minimum age to decorate. All minors must be accompanied by a parent.)

• Thursday, February 12th | 2:00pm-4:00pm
• Thursday, February 12th | 6:00pm-9:00pm
• Friday, February 13th | 10:00am-12:00pm

Saturday Morning Clean-up Team: This team will help by cleaning the facility in preparation for Sunday morning worship |10am-12:00pm

Sunday Morning Clean-up Team: This team will help by cleaning the facility after Sunday morning worship |12:30pm-1:30pm

Serve Training is mandatory for all participants serving. 

Training will be offered on Thursday, January 29th at 6:30pm or Sunday, February 1st at 12:30pm. Please make plans to attend one of these trainings so that you will be ready to serve on February 13th.
